Our Story

A Family Concern That Became a Calling

Solvine began in Taipei's Wanhua District when its founders — themselves navigating the challenges of supporting an aging parent — recognised how difficult it was to find consistent, trustworthy in-home help. There were plenty of general staffing options, but very few that brought genuine understanding of what elderly individuals and their families actually need day to day.

From that starting point, Solvine was built carefully — one caregiver at a time, one household at a time. We focused on training, on matching, and on the kind of continuity that lets an elderly person feel genuinely cared for rather than processed. That foundation has not changed.

Today, we serve families across Taipei with three core service tiers, each designed to cover a different level of daily need. What stays constant is our commitment: every visit should leave someone's loved one a little more comfortable, a little more supported, and confident that they're in good hands.

What We Stand For

Mission & Values

Dignity First

Every elderly person we care for has a lifetime of preferences, habits, and ways of doing things. We work around those — never over them. Dignity is not a bonus; it is the whole point.

Families Stay Involved

We are not a substitute for family — we are a support to it. Families receive clear, honest updates and remain part of care decisions every step of the way.

Steady Improvement

Our caregivers receive ongoing training and feedback. We review what is working in each placement and adjust — because good care is not static, and we know it.

Standards We Hold

Quality & Safety Protocols

We hold ourselves to a clear set of practices across every engagement. These are not aspirations — they are the baseline we work from.

Background Screening

All caregivers pass criminal background checks and reference verification before they work with any client household.

Structured Induction Training

New team members complete a formal orientation in elder care practices, communication standards, and emergency protocols before starting.

Confidentiality Agreements

Every caregiver signs a privacy agreement. Information about client households remains strictly within the care relationship.

Written Care Plans

We document each client's needs, preferences, and schedule clearly. These plans are shared with families and revisited regularly.

Periodic Review Checks

Care quality is reviewed periodically through family feedback and supervisor check-ins. We look for small problems before they grow.

Family Access Line

Families can reach us by phone during office hours for any concern — no queues, no ticketing system, just a direct conversation.

In-Home Elderly Care Expertise in Taipei

Solvine operates from Wanhua District, Taipei, and has developed substantial expertise in the practical and emotional dimensions of elder care within a Taiwanese household context. Our caregivers are familiar with the expectations, family dynamics, and living arrangements common across Taipei — from traditional apartments to multi-generational homes.

We understand that in-home care is not simply a logistical arrangement. It touches on family relationships, cultural expectations, personal privacy, and daily comfort in ways that are deeply personal. That understanding shapes how we train our team and how we approach each new client engagement.

Solvine has worked with elderly individuals across a range of circumstances — those requiring light daily assistance, those recovering from illness, and those needing more comprehensive daily support. That breadth of experience helps us assess each situation honestly and match it with a service approach that is realistic and appropriate.
