You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement, either on your own behalf or as an authorised representative of the care recipient or their family.

3. Service Description

Solvine provides in-home assistance for elderly individuals in Taipei. Services are non-medical in nature and do not constitute professional medical, therapeutic, or clinical care. Specific services are described on our Solutions page and confirmed in each client's written care plan.

5. Payment Terms

Service fees are denominated in New Taiwan Dollars (NTD). Payment schedules and accepted methods are confirmed during the initial consultation and outlined in your service agreement.

Fees are invoiced monthly. Payments are due within 7 days of invoice unless otherwise agreed. Late payments may result in a temporary suspension of service.

Refund eligibility depends on the circumstances of cancellation. Please contact us at [email protected] to discuss your situation — we approach each case with fairness.

6. Service-Specific Terms

Morning & Evening Routine Help: Visits are scheduled at agreed times. Clients should notify Solvine at least 24 hours in advance if a visit needs to be cancelled or rescheduled.

Household & Meal Support: Specific tasks included are confirmed in the care plan. Caregivers do not perform heavy renovation, outdoor maintenance, or tasks that require specialist trade qualifications.

Personalised Full-Day Care: The assigned caregiver is identified before service begins. Care plans are reviewed periodically and updated in consultation with the family. Any change to assigned caregiver will be communicated and explained in advance where possible.

8. Disclaimers

Solvine's services are non-medical personal care and household assistance. We do not provide nursing, medical assessment, or clinical treatment of any kind. For medical concerns, clients should consult a licensed healthcare professional.

While we take care in all we do, we cannot accept responsibility for outcomes that arise from inaccurate information provided by the client or circumstances outside our caregivers' reasonable control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable Taiwan law, Solvine's liability is limited to the value of the services provided in the month in which the relevant event occurred. We exclude liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages except where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

10. Termination

Either party may end the service arrangement with reasonable written notice. We ask for at least 7 days' notice for standard service termination. Solvine may suspend or terminate services immediately if a caregiver's safety or wellbeing is at risk.

Upon termination, any outstanding fees for services already rendered remain payable.

11. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China). In the event of a dispute, we encourage direct communication first. Most concerns are resolved through honest conversation.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Taipei, Taiwan.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when published on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify active clients of material changes by email where possible.
